It does. A day gets you footage. What you are paying for is the person who decides what the footage is for before it is shot, and who gets it back to you while anyone still cares. If the budget only covers the day, say so and we will scope it to the day honestly.
Nobody has asked me that twice. The first thing we ask for is last year’s final attendance, and every figure we report back is collected. If it was not collected, the line is left out.
Start with one event. If it works you will already know what the next twelve months should look like. If it does not, you have risked one event instead of a year.
